The Opportunity: Team Leader I (Laboratory)

Almarai is seeking a Team Leader I (Laboratory) to join its team in Hail. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and involves leading a self-directing, multi-functional team within the laboratory environment.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to efficiently manage the intake of poultry and process specified poultry products. The Team Leader will ensure that internal customer requirements are met within established management performance parameters, including efficiency, loss-in-process, and zero non-conformance. This involves targeting precise product specifications, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a self-directing, multi-functional team to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee the intake of poultry and the processing of specified poultry products.
• Ensure all processes meet internal customer requirements.
• Monitor and maintain performance parameters, including efficiency and loss-in-process.
• Implement and enforce zero non-conformance standards.
• Ensure adherence to product specifications, quality, and safety standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to perform accurate and timely analysis of samples, including feeds, forages, soil, water, animal/plant tissues, and fertilizers, following standard protocols and guidelines.
• Proficiency in calibrating various laboratory instruments.
• Demonstrated analytical ability.
• Strong decision-making capability.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Hail, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic laboratory setting focused on food and beverage manufacturing and distribution.
