About the Role

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is seeking an EHS Manager to join the EHS Department in Ras Tannurah, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves developing, implementing, and continuously improving environmental, health, and safety processes within the EHS management system. The EHS Manager will report to the EHSS Director and serve as the organization's technical expert on environmental and safety matters.

Role Purpose and Impact

The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership, guidance, and strategic direction to foster a strong interdependent EHS culture within the company. The EHS Manager ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal/external business requirements while driving continuous improvement across all EHS programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of Environment, Health, and Safety programs to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Influence and mentor company leadership to strengthen an interdependent EHS culture.
  • Develop, prepare, and present regular updates to company leadership on key EHS performance indicators.
  • Serve as the EHS technical expert for process hazard analyses, management of change, and incident investigation.
  • Implement the Health & Safety Management System in compliance with company plans, local statutory requirements, and international best practice standards.
  • Manage EHS compliance monitoring by leading, advising, and directing health and safety management activities.
  • Conduct EHS evaluations of contractors, vendors, and independent inspection agencies to assess their competence.
  • Stay updated on changes in EHS regulations, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Establish programs to improve Health & Safety compliance through innovative solutions and maintain continuous EHS improvement.
  • Establish EHS engagement programs with all stakeholders to encourage and maintain Health & Safety performance and compliance levels.
  • Review incident reporting, investigation, and data analysis to ensure implementation of proactive recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and disaster preparedness.
  • Conduct regular emergency drills to ensure employee readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external emergency services during incidents.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: More than 10 years of experience in EHSS roles, including managerial experience.
  • Certifications: Relevant professional certifications such as ISO, OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Technical Competencies: Familiarity with EHSS regulations and standards applicable in Saudi Arabia; strong risk assessment skills with the ability to identify and mitigate EHSS risks.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Strong communication and leadership abilities; demonstrated problem-solving skills in analyzing data and addressing EHSS challenges.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Ras Tannurah, Eastern Region, within the EHS Department of Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and company leadership to ensure a safe and compliant operational environment.
