About Air Products and the Role

Air Products, established in 1940, is a world-leading industrial gases company with a history of innovation, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship. The company focuses on developing solutions that contribute to a cleaner future. We are seeking a NGHP Digital Technology Project Manager to join our team in Duba, Tabuk, and Neom, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to leading the end-to-end delivery of Digital Technology (DT) programs for significant construction and capital projects.

Program and Project Management Responsibilities

The Digital Technology Project Manager will lead DT program delivery from design through commissioning and handover. This includes developing and managing integrated program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts aligned with construction milestones. The role involves overseeing multiple concurrent DT projects, covering network, audio-visual, security, operational technology (OT)/Internet of Things (IoT), applications, data, and integrations. Key responsibilities also include maintaining execution and program governance, reporting, risk management, and escalation processes, as well as managing DT interdependencies across engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.

Stakeholder Engagement and Technology Delivery

This position acts as the primary DT point of contact for Construction, Facilities, Real Estate, Engineering, and external partners. The manager will translate construction and operational requirements into DT scope and technical deliverables, facilitating alignment among architects, engineers, general contractors, power suppliers, and DT teams. A core function is to manage the delivery of construction-related DT solutions, such as network and wireless infrastructure, structured cabling, data centers, DT infrastructure security, audio-visual and collaboration technologies, and application and data integrations supporting facilities operations. Ensuring DT solutions meet enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and compliance standards is also a critical aspect.

Financial, Risk, and Operational Readiness

The role encompasses developing and managing program budgets, forecasts, and capital expense tracking. This includes overseeing vendor selection, contracts, statements of work, and performance, ensuring coordination of DT vendor activities with construction schedules and site readiness. The manager is responsible for identifying and mitigating risks related to construction dependencies, site readiness, and technology integration, and for managing scope, schedule, and budget changes through formal change control processes. Prior to occupancy and operational handoff, the role ensures quality assurance, testing, and acceptance. Furthermore, it coordinates cutover, commissioning, and transition to operations, ensuring the delivery, performance, and compliance of the Digital Technology infrastructure and solutions. This includes ensuring documentation, training, and support models are in place before go-live, partnering with DT operations teams of NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) for long-term supportability, and ensuring compliance with and transition of National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) requirements in Saudi Arabia to NGHC.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience managing multiple complex projects with cross-functional teams, with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Digital Technology infrastructure, enterprise applications, and systems integration.
  • Experience working with external vendors, contractors, and system integrators.
  • Knowledge of Information Security and Cybersecurity principles.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience is preferred in technology and application solutions at Purdue levels 3 and above, as well as Cybersecurity Operations Center setup and operationalization.
  • DT Leadership roles in operational facilities are highly preferred, particularly given the project facility's transition to commissioning and operational readiness.

Work Environment and Expectations

This full-time position requires flexibility in supporting global schedules to coordinate a global team, with meetings often spanning Middle East, UK, and America’s time zones. The role is based in Duba, Tabuk, and Neom, Saudi Arabia, and involves working within a dynamic project environment focused on large-scale industrial gas facilities.
