About the Role

Air Products Qudra is seeking a highly experienced SCADA Engineer to join our team in Duba. This full-time role requires a professional with over 10 years of experience to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of critical control systems for power generation assets. The successful candidate will contribute to projects that drive innovation and support essential infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, operation, and optimization of SCADA, Power Plant Controller (PPC), Energy Management System (EMS), and Substation Automation System (SAS). This includes ensuring seamless integration and interoperability across renewable, hybrid, and grid-connected power generation assets, including Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS/TDMS).
• Lead grid code compliance and performance validation activities.
• Drive OT cybersecurity compliance and network architecture reviews in accordance with standards such as NCA, OTCC, and ISA62443.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and develop remediation plans.
• Support Real-Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) activities.
• Coordinate with EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction contractors), OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), utilities, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate site troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts.
• Ensure HCIS SEC compliance for project deliverables.
• Provide support for Site Performance Management initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in SCADA engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in the design, implementation, and operation of SCADA, PPC, EMS, and SAS systems.
• Proven experience with grid code compliance, performance validation, and OT cybersecurity standards.
