Senior Engineer ICT Instrumentation & Controls

About the Role

AECOM Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Engineer for ICT, Instrumentation & Controls to join our team in Duba. This full-time position involves performing specific and moderate portions of broader engineering assignments, contributing to the design and implementation of complex systems. The role requires developmental experience in a professional position, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures.
• Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments, including calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Propose approaches to solve new problems by modifying standard procedures or methods from previous assignments.
• Identify discrepancies in results and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers on technical concepts and best practices.
• Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
• Independently complete all tasks necessary for primary design elements of engineering works.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and system analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, quality assurance specialists, and other engineering disciplines, to meet project objectives.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and oversee testing protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and control system issues, implementing solutions to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations to improve system efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The position requires a professional background with demonstrated experience in engineering assignments and problem-solving within an ICT, Instrumentation & Controls context.
