About CEER and the Role

CEER is seeking an Assistant Manager Plant Supply Chain Indirect Material to join its team in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position crucial for ensuring the efficiency and compliance of plant supply chain operations.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Assistant Manager will oversee and coordinate daily operations across multiple warehouses. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient storage, handling, and distribution of materials. A key aspect involves preparing, reviewing, and submitting all necessary documentation in full compliance with local regulations and governmental policies, while also adhering to operational, quality, and HSE requirements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support daily warehouse operations, maintaining consistent processes and standards across all locations.
  • Ensure the safe handling, storage, and segregation of chemical and hazardous materials in accordance with MSDS, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with local and governmental policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and robust system controls.
  • Accurately record all material movements, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), issues, transfers, and returns, within ERP/WMS systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, including storekeepers, operators, and forklift drivers, across all operational sites.
  • Support manpower planning, task allocation, and productivity monitoring, and provide training to staff on standard procedures, chemical safety, and proper material handling techniques.
  • Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, safe work practices, proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, safe operation of material handling equipment, and emergency procedures.
  • Promote good housekeeping practices, 5S methodology, and continuous safety and process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive operational and compliance reports covering inventory status, space utilization, identified issues, and improvement opportunities.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant supply chain or warehouse management role.
  • Experience handling chemical, industrial, or regulated materials is mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of chemical properties, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and safe storage requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control principles.

Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems, with SAP MM/WM experience preferred.

This full-time position is based in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves working within a dynamic plant supply chain environment.
