The Hostess Role

SWOT Hospitality is seeking a professional and well-presented Hostess to join its team in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating, and ensuring a positive guest experience from arrival to departure. The position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests with a professional demeanor.
• Manage guest reservations, bookings, and seating arrangements.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to reservation inquiries.
• Provide guests with information about the restaurant, menu, promotions, and facilities.
• Coordinate with waitstaff, supervisors, kitchen, and management to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor table availability and assist with efficient table turnover.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception/entrance area.
• Ensure consistent adherence to restaurant standards and hospitality procedures.
• Assist the team with other front-of-house duties as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and high customer service standards at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, Guest Relations Officer, or similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, friendly, and confident personality.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Presentable and well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC hospitality industry is an advantage.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems is a plus.
• Candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia are preferred.

This position is based in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Opportunities may also be available in Jeddah and Makkah.
