About the Role

SJ Group is seeking a talented Interior Design Architect to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to design projects within the Saudi Arabian market.

Key Responsibilities

An Interior Design Architect typically undertakes the following tasks:

• Developing conceptual interior designs based on client briefs and project requirements.
• Creating detailed design development drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Selecting and specifying materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Coordinating with other disciplines, such as structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Preparing design presentations and visualizations for client review and approval.
• Managing project timelines and budgets related to interior design aspects.
• Overseeing the implementation of interior designs during the construction phase.
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Conducting site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress.
• Collaborating with clients, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of professional experience as an Interior Design Architect.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in interior design principles and practices.
