Bourke Street Trading Manager

About the Role

MECCA Brands is seeking a Bourke Street Trading Manager for its new store in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on leading category performance within a specialty area such as Colour, Skin, or Fragrance. The Trading Manager will be responsible for driving team success and ensuring high standards of customer experience across the store, including shifts during late night and weekend peak trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive customer experiences while upholding MECCA’s customer service standards.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Trading Manager and Services Manager to enhance category, brand, and service performance.
• Utilize key performance indicators to achieve commercial results and guide the team towards daily goals.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement trials and innovations, providing support through feedback, data analysis, and continuous process improvement.
• Work with concession partners to ensure a seamless customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive trade.
• Operate with agility to achieve outcomes in a dynamic retail environment.
• Apply critical thinking to resolve complex problems using a decision-making matrix.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing a large format retail environment.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and train large teams.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Experience in stakeholder management, both internal and external.
• Previous experience in coaching and mentoring focused on team member development.
• Ability to develop strong relationships and drive initiatives.
• Genuine interest in fostering a positive team member experience.
• Capacity for strategic thinking and influencing change.
