About the Role

Innovation Consulting Group (ICG) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a digital logistics platform on behalf of one of its clients. This full-time role is based in Saudi Arabia, with operations spanning Jeddah, Makkah, Riyadh, and Dammam. The CEO will be responsible for leading the commercial and operational growth of the platform, with direct accountability for its performance and overall P&L.

Platform Overview

The client operates a digital logistics marketplace that connects importers and businesses with logistics service providers. This platform facilitates the submission of logistics requirements, enables users to receive and compare quotations from multiple providers based on pricing and timing, and supports the selection of suitable providers. It also connects customers with shipping and customs-clearance providers and manages logistics transactions, including invoicing and payment facilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall Platform P&L and commercial performance.
• Drive revenue and transaction growth for the platform.
• Lead the commercial launch and go-to-market strategy in Saudi Arabia.
• Implement strategies for customer acquisition, activation, retention, and recurring usage.
• Develop and expand the network of logistics, shipping, and customs-clearance providers.
• Oversee sales performance and establish the initial sales organization.
• Lead Sales Executives across Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.
• Drive platform adoption and transaction conversion rates.
• Build and manage the commercial pipeline and sales forecasting processes.
• Develop strategic commercial partnerships.
• Lead key customer and business development opportunities personally.
• Monitor market performance, customer needs, and competitive developments.
• Collaborate with operations and technology teams to ensure market requirements are integrated into the platform.
• Establish scalable commercial processes and a sustainable growth model.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial and commercially driven leader with 5-10 years of experience, capable of managing a P&L, acquiring customers, building provider networks, leading sales teams, driving transactions, and establishing partnerships. This role requires a hands-on approach to commercial results and platform scaling.
