Esnad Contracting is seeking a Civil Technical Office Engineer – Wet Utilities to join its team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, focusing on critical infrastructure projects within the region.

Role Summary

The Civil Technical Office Engineer will play a key role in the technical office, responsible for the preparation, review, and coordination of detailed engineering drawings and documentation for wet utility networks. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to ensure design accuracy and coordination across project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review detailed shop drawings for gravity networks, including sewerage and stormwater systems.
• Prepare and review shop drawings for pressurized networks, including water supply, firefighting, and irrigation systems.
• Develop detailed drawings for manholes, chambers, thrust blocks, puddle flanges, and connection details.
• Produce fully coordinated fabrication and shop drawings from design packages prior to client submission and site execution.
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Material Submittals for pipes, fittings, valves, and other network components.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain shop and fabrication drawings for specialized items.
• Prepare accurate Material Take-Offs (MTO) and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on approved drawings.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and provide technical support to the site team regarding levels, slopes, alignment, and design clashes.
• Coordinate technically with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams to ensure project alignment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in wet utilities, infrastructure, or technical office works.
• Strong knowledge of gravity and pressurized utility networks.
• Demonstrated experience with sewerage, stormwater, water supply, firefighting, and irrigation networks.
• Strong knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, valves, and related utility components.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong experience in shop drawing production, Material Take-Offs (MTO), material submittals, and technical coordination processes.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role is not disclosed and will be discussed during the interview process.
