About House of Consulting Office (HCO) and the Role

House of Consulting Office (HCO) is a prominent multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm operating across Saudi Arabia. We specialize in delivering integrated architectural, engineering, planning, and project management consultancy services, supporting clients through all phases of the project lifecycle. We are currently seeking an experienced Utilities Engineer to join our team in AlUla, Al Har Al Ulya, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time position.

Purpose of the Role

The Utilities Engineer will be responsible for overseeing mechanical utility construction activities and ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure projects. This role involves comprehensive technical supervision, coordination, and quality assurance for various utility systems within project frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical utility construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review utility design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Monitor the installation of water supply, sewage, stormwater, chilled water, and district cooling networks where applicable.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, utility authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor the testing and commissioning processes for mechanical utility systems.
• Resolve site-related technical issues and provide necessary engineering support.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety requirements and quality procedures.
• Prepare inspection reports, technical documentation, and progress reports.
• Support the successful delivery of projects within established schedule and quality objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in utilities and infrastructure projects.
• Previous PMC (Project Management Consultancy) experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical utility systems, including pipelines, pumping stations, and general infrastructure works.
• Demonstrated experience in reviewing utility design documents and technical submissions.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant engineering software.

Work Environment and Application
