About the Role

Plaza Premium Group is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to provide overall leadership and direction for project teams. This full-time role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves the planning, monitoring, and execution of construction and renovation projects. The focus will be on Airport Terminal lounges, hotels, F&B outlets, and related services across KSA, with potential involvement in the EMEA region, ensuring end-to-end delivery from design to handover.

Key Responsibilities

The Deputy Project Manager will oversee various aspects of project delivery, ensuring compliance, financial integrity, and successful execution. This includes:

• Ensuring all construction activities adhere to contractual obligations, statutory regulations, and relevant industry standards.
• Defining project scope for new airport lounges, hotels, F&B outlets, and related services within KSA and other international locations as required.
• Collecting, analyzing, and evaluating data related to project progress, efficiency, and effectiveness to inform decision-making.
• Performing ad hoc duties as assigned by the Global Project Director and/or EMEA Associate Project Director.

Project Oversight and Development

This position requires comprehensive oversight of project financials and technical aspects, alongside active involvement in new business development support.

• Overseeing and monitoring the financial, commercial, contractual, and technical dimensions of all ongoing projects.
• Preparing tender documentation, developing project schedules, and producing budget estimates and cost plans to support new business initiatives.
• Playing a key role in sourcing, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive database of suppliers and contractors.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Team Leadership

The role involves significant interaction with both internal and external parties to ensure project alignment and team performance.

• Collaborating closely with external stakeholders, including landlords, designers, consultants, suppliers, and contractors, to implement PPG concepts and maintain quality control.
• Leading, supervising, and mentoring a team of project staff, monitoring their performance and work progress.
• Conducting regular coordination and review meetings with the Operations Team to gather feedback and provide progress reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in project management within the construction and renovation sector.

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably within the hospitality or airport services industry.

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a proactive approach to managing complex projects across multiple locations and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
