About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to join its team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for professionals who are dedicated to delivering high standards of guest service and providing practical solutions.

Role Purpose

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for performing daily assigned duties as instructed by Supervisors. This role requires strict adherence to all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor, accurately signing the key log book.
• Clean rooms and bathrooms, performing a combination of specified duties.
• Ensure fire exits and stairways remain clear of any obstructions.
• Check for and immediately report any required maintenance work.
• Pick up any litter from corridors and pathways.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, and empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.
• Make beds, wash sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors, and polish brass and metal fixtures.
• Replenish bathroom and room supplies as needed.
• Tidy and neatly arrange guest toilet articles on vanity tops and spot clean carpets when necessary.
• Clean and maintain guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas to be neat and tidy at all times.
• Remove Room Service trays and trolleys from guestrooms and corridors.
• Inform valet service to collect guests' clothes for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Ideally possess vocational training within the Housekeeping Department of a hotel.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience is required.
