About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience and is central to ensuring guest satisfaction through meticulous room preparation and maintenance of high cleanliness standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Fill carts with supplies and transport them to assigned areas.
• Enter guest rooms following established procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy.
• Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
• Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items, make beds, and fold terry.
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly.
• Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items from rooms.
• Check that all in-room appliances are present and in working order.
• Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.

Guest Service and Team Collaboration

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
• Support team members to achieve common goals and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Safety, Security, and Operational Compliance

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 25 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Capacity to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
