Housekeeping Supervisor

About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning across Taif and Makkah. This full-time position involves overseeing housekeeping operations and ensuring high standards of guest service and departmental efficiency. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support departmental goals, financial targets, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage storage areas and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
• Assist with staff training and work scheduling.
• Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure compliance with departmental standards.
• Conduct staff briefings, provide coaching, and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure excellent guest service and promptly address guest requests and complaints.
• Coordinate room allocations, inspections, and arrival room priorities.
• Liaise with Front Office and manage guest requests, valet services, calls, and lost property.
• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, fire safety, and hotel security procedures.
• Report incidents and accidents promptly.
• Support sustainability initiatives and coordinate special housekeeping projects.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of room types, layouts, facilities, and housekeeping systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage departmental operations.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards and procedures.

Work Environment

This role is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves working in a collaborative environment within IHG Hotels & Resorts. The position is full-time and focuses on supporting hotel operations across Makkah and Taif.
