About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning across Taif and Makkah. This full-time position involves overseeing housekeeping operations and ensuring high standards of guest service and departmental efficiency. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Support departmental goals, financial targets, and cost-saving initiatives.
Manage storage areas and maintain adequate stock levels.
Perform duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Assist with staff training and work scheduling.
Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure compliance with departmental standards.
Conduct staff briefings, provide coaching, and support continuous improvement.
Ensure excellent guest service and promptly address guest requests and complaints.
Coordinate room allocations, inspections, and arrival room priorities.
Liaise with Front Office and manage guest requests, valet services, calls, and lost property.
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, fire safety, and hotel security procedures.
Report incidents and accidents promptly.
Support sustainability initiatives and coordinate special housekeeping projects.
Maintain thorough knowledge of room types, layouts, facilities, and housekeeping systems.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant role.
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage departmental operations.
Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards and procedures.

Work Environment

This role is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves working in a collaborative environment within IHG Hotels & Resorts. The position is full-time and focuses on supporting hotel operations across Makkah and Taif.
