About the Role: MHE Technician

United International Group is seeking a skilled and experienced MHE Technician to join our team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on ensuring the operational integrity of material handling equipment.

Role Overview and Purpose

The MHE Technician is responsible for the comprehensive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The primary objective of this role is to ensure all equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently, thereby supporting seamless operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MHE equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential equipment issues proactively.
• Repair and replace faulty components as necessary to restore functionality.
• Ensure all equipment operates safely and at optimal efficiency levels.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and comprehensive service reports.
• Adhere strictly to all established safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Coordinate effectively with the operations team to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in MHE maintenance or a relevant industry.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with various material handling equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and pallet trucks.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage tasks under operational requirements.
• Transferable Iqama is mandatory for this position.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
