About the Procurement Officer Role

Eventsgate is seeking a Procurement Officer to join their team in Makkah, with operations covering Jeddah and Makkah. This part-time role is essential for managing the procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate approved suppliers within the Saudi market, conducting comparative analyses of their offers.
Initiate Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and negotiate terms to secure optimal pricing, quality, and payment conditions.
Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and oversee the timely delivery and receipt of materials.
Perform visual and technical inspections of delivered materials to verify adherence to specified standards.
Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and forward them to the accounting department for payment processing.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier database, regularly updating performance evaluations.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management is required.
Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing procurement documentation.

Work Environment and Location

This is a part-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on events and related services.
