About the Role

Edition is seeking a Receptionist to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing guest communications and requests to ensure a high level of service and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Answer, record, and process guest requests, questions, or concerns through telephone, email, chat, and mobile communication devices.
Operate the telephone switchboard, process guest wake-up call requests, and direct calls to the appropriate extensions.
Receive, record, and accurately relay messages to guests and staff.
Log all guest requests or issues into the computer system, contact relevant departments (*, Bellperson, Housekeeping), and follow up with guests to confirm resolution.
Provide guests with information regarding room features, property amenities, and local points of interest.
Process room service orders, answer menu-related questions, and record transactions in the point-of-sale system.
Assist guests with internet access and in-room entertainment systems.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
Communicate clearly and professionally, using appropriate telephone etiquette.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
