About the Role

Plaza Premium Group is seeking a Revenue Manager MEA to oversee revenue management and distribution strategies across multiple hotel properties within the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, including key markets such as Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role focuses on maximizing revenue, driving profitability, and ensuring operational efficiency by improving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy rates, with tailored approaches for the MEA region.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive revenue management strategies across multiple hotels in MEA, considering each property’s unique positioning.
  • Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and competitor strategies to forecast demand and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee inventory management across all distribution channels to ensure optimal balance between direct bookings and third-party platforms, and manage strategy for all third-party distribution.
  • Conduct daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments, and reporting.
  • Set and adjust pricing across different markets and segments to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Provide detailed revenue forecasting reports for each property and for the cluster as a whole, utilizing data-driven insights to report on trends and make strategic adjustments.
  • Create and maintain a rolling demand calendar, reflecting peak periods, holidays (*, Ramadan, local festivities), and major events in MEA.
  • Ensure that websites and booking processes for MEA hotels are up-to-date, functional, and compliant with local regulations and guest expectations (including language, currency, and region-specific promotions).
  • Regularly check the input and quality of data, including segmentation and denials tracking.
  • Conduct quarterly property performance reviews and develop strategic and tactical action plans.
  • Prepare an outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.
  • Evaluate the performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, crew, groups, etc.).
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, reservations, and finance departments of each hotel to ensure a cohesive revenue management strategy, facilitating regular communication across properties to align on goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement effective marketing campaigns tailored to local and international markets, enhancing direct bookings and promoting upsell opportunities.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Candidate Profile and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in hotel revenue management, with prior multi-property management experience highly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Deep knowledge of hotel technology, including Property Management Systems (PMS), Channel Managers, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Central Reservation Systems (CRS), and Extranets used in MEA markets.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with sensitivity to cross-cultural business contexts.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in the Makkah and Jeddah region, with responsibilities extending across the broader MEA market. The role requires the ability to work across MEA time zones and involves travel as required to various properties within the region.
