The Role

The Room Care Technician – Engineering will be responsible for addressing guestroom maintenance issues, performing various repair tasks, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand guestroom-related issues, gather necessary equipment, and efficiently assess and resolve problems.
• Perform maintenance tasks within rooms, including electrical work, furniture repairs, and other basic repair jobs.
• Handle inquiries from guests and team members professionally and promptly resolve room care complaints.
• Complete assigned work orders, conduct room inspections, and accurately document all tasks performed.
• Select the correct tools and parts from stores and maintain precise usage logs.
• Report observed room damages to supervisors and recommend appropriate solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Secondary education is required; vocational certification and trade qualification are preferred.
• Strong technical skills in trade, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.
