The Role of Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires solid experience in accounting and finance to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with Saudi tax regulations, and support financial reporting and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting as requested.
• Independently coordinate external audits, preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and manage Withholding Tax (WHT) calculations, filings, and payments in compliance with Saudi tax regulations.
• Manage e-invoicing processes and ensure accurate generation and reporting of electronic invoices in compliance with ZATCA regulations.
• Manage payroll processes, including salary calculations, deductions, WPS compliance, and timely processing of employee payments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Proven experience managing external audits and preparing supporting documentation.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Saudi VAT, WHT, and ZATCA e-invoicing regulations.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
