The Role of Senior ICT Engineer

SJ Group is seeking a Senior ICT Engineer to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading the design and coordination of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Extra-Low Voltage (ELV), and digital systems across large-scale developments. The Senior ICT Engineer will ensure that integrated solutions are aligned with specific project and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of ICT and ELV systems from the initial concept phase through to project delivery.
• Coordinate ICT requirements effectively with architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), and other specialist disciplines.
• Review and approve ICT strategies, technical specifications, and design deliverables.
• Ensure all designs and implementations comply with established project standards, authority requirements, and industry best practices.
• Support client coordination efforts and contribute to technical decision-making processes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to ICT engineering teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 20 years of experience in ICT and ELV systems design.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering complex, large-scale projects.
• Strong experience in multidisciplinary coordination within project environments.
• Proven background in senior or lead ICT engineering roles.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Expert knowledge of ICT and ELV systems, including their integration.
• Strong understanding of digital infrastructure and smart systems.
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage design reviews, interface coordination, and approval processes.
