Senior Procurement Specialist

About the Role

Diamond Glare is seeking a Senior Procurement & Pricing Officer to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time role requires an experienced procurement professional with a specialization in commercial kitchen, hospitality, and central laundry equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in sourcing, negotiation, costing, and pricing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage local and international equipment purchases, including reviewing specifications, comparing supplier offers, and negotiating prices, payment terms, and warranties.
• Develop relationships with reliable suppliers and identify suitable equipment alternatives to enhance procurement options.
• Analyze market and competitor prices to improve equipment pricing strategies and overall competitiveness.
• Calculate total landed costs and propose selling prices and discount limits that support target profit margins, subject to company approval.
• Track shipments from supplier readiness until arrival at company warehouses, coordinating shipping documents, customs clearance, inland transport, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and pricing records and report on savings achieved, profitability, and supplier performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 5-10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years specifically in commercial kitchen, hospitality, and central laundry equipment. Industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of equipment specifications, brands, manufacturers, and suppliers relevant to the industry.
• Proven negotiation, market analysis, costing, and selling-price calculation skills.
• Practical knowledge of international shipping, import procedures, and Incoterms.
• Proficiency in Odoo and Excel is required.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines effectively.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah. The role involves coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement and pricing operations.
