The Role of Store Manager

The Store Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability within the store. This full-time position, located in Makkah and Jeddah, requires 2-5 years of experience. The role involves managing and developing store teams, maintaining brand and company image, ensuring operational compliance, and delivering excellent customer experience. The Store Manager is fully accountable for the daily operations of the store and its workforce, aligning with the overall business objectives of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest levels of customer service are consistently delivered by the entire store team.
• Develop and implement innovative approaches to attract new customers, increase store traffic, and enhance profitability.
• Track brand performance, review stock levels, and monitor best-selling and slow-moving stock to generate action plans for increasing overall sales.
• Oversee compliance of subordinates with established company policies, procedures, and standards, including fund and property management, personnel practices, security, sales, and record-keeping.
• Coach, train, and mentor store teams to improve customer service levels through enhanced brand/product knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of retail.
• Ensure adherence to all Company Health & Safety, Security, and Compliance policies, escalating any concerns to the Excellence and Compliance team promptly.
• Plan, organize, and execute in-store processes, including cash intake, cash handling, stockroom management, and stock-take administration.
• Provide critical analytical feedback to the Operations, Buying, and Planning Departments regarding product, ranging, pricing, competitive activities, and opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A proven record of maximizing business performance.
• Good understanding of main customer segments and the ability to help the team understand them.
• Ability to identify critical paths and proactively engage relevant stakeholders to ensure timely decision-making.
• Capable of making difficult decisions and discerning when to delegate upwards versus making a direct call.
