About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Supervisor Housekeeping to join their team in Makkah, with operations in Jeddah. This full-time position involves overseeing housekeeping operations to ensure quality standards and supporting the daily activities of the department.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities such as the pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
Prepare room availability reports, check room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize room cleaning, and update the status of departing guests.
Assist the Housekeeping Department in managing daily activities and coordinate efforts with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
Document and resolve room discrepancy issues with the Front Desk.
Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes to assignment sheets or work boards, and communicate all issues to the next shift.
Complete required paperwork and assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain the privacy of company proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Support co-workers, treat them with dignity and respect, and contribute to team goals while meeting quality assurance expectations.

Physical Requirements

Move at a speed required to respond to work situations (*, run, walk, jog).
Read and visually verify information in various formats, and visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
Enter and locate work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs.
Ascend and descend stairs and/or service ramps.
Continuously use manual dexterity and motor skills, frequently using both hands and fine motor functions.
Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing 55 pounds ( kg) or less without assistance and more than 55 pounds ( kg) with assistance.
Push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machines on sloping and uneven surfaces.
Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods or very frequently during the entire work shift.
Listen and respond appropriately to other employees' problems, and speak with others using clear and professional language.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with operations extending to Jeddah. The role requires active participation in a dynamic hospitality environment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
