Position Overview:
The Material Store Keeper will manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and supplies required for our EPC projects. This role is vital for ensuring proper inventory management, adherence to safety standards, and accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Material Handling and Storage:
    • Receive, inspect, and store materials according to project requirements.
    • Ensure organized and secure storage to prevent damage or loss.
    • Maintain proper labeling for easy identification of materials.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
    • Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile records.
    • Report discrepancies promptly to the procurement team.
  • Issuance of Materials:
    • Coordinate with project teams for material issuance.
    • Ensure documentation for materials issued.
    • Manage returns of unused or surplus materials.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed transaction records for materials.
    • Generate inventory and usage reports for management.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure safe storage and handling of materials.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards.
    • Adhere to environmental and health safety standards.
  • Coordination and Communication:
    • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and project teams.
    • Effectively communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries.
    • Address material handling issues promptly.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in inventory management are a plus.
  • 23 years of experience in material handling or storekeeping, preferably in the EPC or construction industry.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills.
