The Role: Assistant Public Area Manager

Accor is seeking an Assistant Public Area Manager for Raffles The Red Sea. This full-time role involves supporting the Public Area Manager in overseeing daily cleaning operations and ensuring high standards across all shared spaces. The position requires 5-10 years of experience, with a focus on pre-opening expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Public Area Manager in directing daily cleaning operations for lobbies, restaurants, elevators, and outdoor arrival areas.
• Conduct frequent inspections to ensure all surfaces, furnishings, and decorative elements meet Luxury Quality Assessment (LQA) standards.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Public Area Attendants and Supervisors, fostering a culture of hospitality and anticipatory service.
• Coordinate routine and deep-cleaning programs, including marble polishing, carpet shampooing, and special setups for VIP arrivals or events.
• Liaise with Engineering, Front Office, and Food & Beverage departments to address maintenance needs or guest concerns promptly.
• Monitor the usage and inventory of eco-friendly cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring adherence to the resort’s sustainability and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in pre-opening stages, including project coordination and document control, is often mandatory for this destination.
• Proficiency in property management systems such as Opera.
• Deep understanding of specialized cleaning techniques for high-end finishes.
