Associate Accountant

About the Role

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib (HMG) is seeking an Associate Accountant to manage payment-related transactions. This is a permanent position suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in accounting. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely processing of various financial transactions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Process advance payments, patient refunds, and employee dues.
• Maintain petty cash funds, ensuring proper reconciliation and documentation.
• Respond to payment-related queries from immediate superiors as requested.
• Control and maintain the logbook for bank cheques.
• Process payments to suppliers efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare journal vouchers (JVs) for all refund transactions.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Contribute to enhancing the patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• 0-1 years of experience in an accounting role.
