Associate Director IT BRM

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an Associate Director - IT BRM to serve as the strategic IT lead for its Motorsport portfolio. This full-time role acts as the primary liaison between business leadership and technology teams, driving technology demand management, portfolio governance, roadmap development, and operational readiness across Motorsport assets. The position ensures that technology investments align with business objectives, asset strategies, and operational requirements, and requires over 10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary IT relationship owner for Motorsport business leadership.
• Translate business strategy into comprehensive technology roadmaps.
• Build trusted relationships with asset executives, operators, consultants, and delivery partners.
• Ensure technology decisions effectively support business outcomes and operational objectives.
• Facilitate strategic planning sessions and executive alignment on technology initiatives.
• Own the Motorsport demand intake process, evaluating, prioritizing, and governing business requests.
• Lead capability mapping and solution assessment activities to identify optimal technology solutions.

Technology Strategy and Roadmap Development

• Develop multi-year Motorsport technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity requirements.
• Identify opportunities for platform reuse, standardization, and innovation within the Motorsport domain.
• Drive the adoption of emerging technologies across various areas, including smart venues, race operations, fan engagement, digital ticketing, sports analytics, and IoT/operational technology systems.
• Provide strategic roadmap ownership for high-capex, high-integration Motorsport environments.

Asset IT and Operational Readiness

• Lead IT readiness assessments for new Motorsport assets and define technology mobilization plans.
• Coordinate technology requirements with operators and business users to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Ensure technology readiness before asset opening and major events.
• Track dependencies across supporting facilities and core assets to mitigate risks.

Motorsport Domain Scope

This role oversees technology demand and readiness for a broad range of Motorsport-related assets and systems, characterized by high integration and significant stakeholder engagement. These include:

• Motorsport Park, Speed Park, and Race Tracks
• Visitor & Fan Experience Systems and Ticketing Platforms
• Broadcast & Media Infrastructure
• Venue Operations Systems and Security Command Centers
• Smart Venue & IoT Platforms
• Parking and Mobility Systems
• Operational Technology (OT) integrations

Strategic Ownership and Collaboration

The Associate Director - IT BRM serves as the single strategic owner for Motorsport technology demand, roadmap, readiness, and executive engagement within Qiddiya's Motorsport portfolio. While holding this strategic ownership, the role involves close collaboration with PMO, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data, Infrastructure, and project delivery teams, who are responsible for delivery execution.
