The Role: BIM Modeler (Architectural)

El Seif Engineering Contracting Company is seeking a full-time BIM Modeler (Architectural). This role involves developing detailed architectural models and ensuring compliance with project standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D architectural models for building exteriors, interiors, and landscapes using Revit or other BIM software, adhering to project LOD requirements (LOD 350, 400 & 500).
• Prepare coordinated shop drawings, sections, and schedules from the BIM model.
• Ensure compliance with LOD, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Civil, structural, and MEP) to detect and resolve clashes, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Set up families and libraries for architectural systems.
• Update models to reflect design changes, RFIs, and site modifications.
• Export models/drawings for submission in required formats (DWG, IFC, PDFs).
• Support project engineers and managers by providing accurate quantity take-offs and data from models.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to resolving multidisciplinary issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of BIM files.
• Support visualization and walkthrough using rendering visualization tools (a plus).
• Conduct model quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with established standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools.
• Experience with rendering programs (*, Lumion, Twinmotion).
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, finishes, partitions, ceilings, doors, windows, landscape, and façade models.
• Understanding of common data environments (*, ACC/BIM 360).
• Familiarity with international architectural standards and sizes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a multidisciplinary environment.
