Consultant Dermatology

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Consultant Dermatology to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a medical professional with 5-10 years of experience in dermatology, focusing on comprehensive patient care and adherence to established medical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties in accordance with assigned clinical privileges.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments (clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional) and document findings in medical records.
• Develop and implement evidence-based patient care plans, ensuring timely execution and adherence to standards.
• Serve as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for inpatients admitted under their name.
• Develop discharge plans for inpatients on the day of admission, involving discharge-planning services as needed.
• Assess inpatients daily, documenting assessments and care plans using the SOAP format.
• Respond to medical consultations and document interventions in a timely manner.
• Ensure timely completion and authentication of discharge summaries, including discharge instructions and medication education.
• Attend facility duties and respond to calls as per the departmental call schedule.
• Participate in departmental and general staff meetings, contributing to improvements in efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Prepare medical reports for patients in a timely manner, following Fakeeh Care format.
• Contribute to teaching rounds and activities as requested by the medical department chairperson.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventative measures.

Documentation and Compliance

The Consultant Dermatology is responsible for strictly following Fakeeh Care standards for documentation in medical records, ensuring all patient information is accurately recorded and maintained.

• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the scope of the role.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proactively address job-related safety concerns.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
• Uphold Fakeeh Care’s code of conduct, policies, and ethical standards.
• Complete mandatory education requirements at least one month prior to expiration.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in Dermatology.
