Electrical Supervisor

About the Role

ACWA Operations is seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors for full-time opportunities within RO desalination and CCGT power plants in Saudi Arabia. This role involves supervising electrical maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, safe work execution, and effective deployment of maintenance personnel during routine operations, planned outages, and overhauls.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive, corrective, and condition-based electrical maintenance activities for plant equipment.
• Oversee the maintenance of motors, switchgear, transformers, motor control centres (MCCs), variable-speed drives, generators, and electrical auxiliary systems.
• Coordinate electrical maintenance across RO desalination or CCGT power plants to ensure equipment availability and operational reliability.
• Lead electrical technicians in troubleshooting, equipment testing, repairs, planned outages, and overhauls.
• Ensure proper implementation of electrical safety procedures, equipment isolation, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work requirements.
• Review maintenance work orders, technical drawings, equipment history, and testing results, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
• Coordinate with Operations, Planning, and Stores teams to ensure timely maintenance execution and availability of spare parts, tools, and resources.
• Monitor team performance, provide technical guidance and on-the-job training, and ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical supervision.
• Proven experience in RO desalination or CCGT power plants.

Work Environment

This is a plant-based position located in Saudi Arabia. The role requires availability to support planned outages, equipment overhauls, and emergency maintenance activities as needed.
