About the Role of Electrician

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Full-time Electrician to join its team in the Red Sea region. This role involves responding to and resolving guest repair requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems and equipment within the hotel premises. The Electrician will communicate directly with guests to address maintenance issues and uphold company standards for safety and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and attend to guest repair requests promptly and efficiently.
• Communicate with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues and provide updates.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including regular cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
• Carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios to job sites.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment as required.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies when needed.
• Record information for unfinished calls before shift changes.
• Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Properly store flammable materials according to safety guidelines.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and respond appropriately to concerns.
• Communicate using clear and professional language.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Navigate stairs, service ramps, and ladders as part of daily duties.
• Perform tasks requiring reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this position.
• License or Certification: No specific license or certification is listed as required.
