Environmental Manager

About the Role

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking an Environmental Manager to oversee processes related to environmental control and sustainable development. This full-time position involves a broad scope, including reviewing operations, conducting environmental audits, and ensuring the implementation of necessary changes to resolve environmental issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the organization's environmental performance, including developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental strategies that promote sustainable development.
• Stay informed about international developments and best practices in environmental management.
• Provide professional knowledge and expertise in the administration and support of environmental programs.
• Develop systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Manage the implementation of environmental policies and practices across the organization.
• Implement all policies, procedures, and norms as per the organization’s established system.
• Monitor all adopted environmental practices throughout projects.
• Generate and maintain environmental reports, records, and documents.
• Monitor and regulate the company's compliance with organizational guidelines and applicable international and local norms.
• Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans to ensure corporate sustainable development.
• Ensure the adoption of best environmental practices to improve the organization's systems effectively.
• Lead sustainable procurement initiatives for all goods and services.
• Manage the integration of environmental aspects to enhance positive environmental outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 8-10 years of relevant experience in environmental management. The role requires a professional who can effectively manage and monitor environmental strategies and ensure compliance with regulations.
