Prospex Development is seeking a Head of Product to join their team in Saudi Arabia. The company operates an Arabic-first commerce platform designed for merchants in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading product direction and collaborating closely with engineering to deliver solutions that leverage AI for speed and quality.

Role Overview

The Head of Product will be responsible for the product vision, roadmap, feature definition, and merchant enablement. This position requires a hands-on leader who can partner with the Head of Engineering to guide merchant problems through discovery, delivery, and adoption phases. The role involves direct engagement in producing specifications, prototypes, testing workflows, and assessing results.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product direction, priorities, and scope in alignment with business goals and budget.
• Translate merchant needs into comprehensive workflows, clear specifications, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Utilize AI for research synthesis, prototyping, feature definition, and acceptance processes.
• Oversee usability and product acceptance, including error states, permission states, onboarding, guidance, and adoption.
• Manage scope and delivery tradeoffs with the Engineering team and communicate progress based on demonstrated merchant outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in taking commerce, SaaS, or operational products from problem identification to shipped and adopted workflows.
• Demonstrated proficiency in discovery, prioritization, specification, and measurement skills, with examples of tradeoff decisions.
• Hands-on AI proficiency, including the ability to personally produce and evaluate prototypes, specifications, and acceptance materials using AI.
• Ability to critically test products, question assumptions, and differentiate activity from customer value.
• Comfortable with Arabic-first merchant experiences and close technical collaboration; capable of working independently within a small team.

Initial 90-Day Objectives

• Establish the product baseline and agree on launch scope and acceptance criteria.
• Demonstrate complete priority workflows.
• Prepare onboarding and feedback processes.
• Partner with Engineering on migration readiness and a credible pilot plan.

Application Requirements

AI-assisted product work is mandatory for this role. Candidates must demonstrate how AI improves their speed and output while maintaining responsibility for problem selection, product quality, and merchant outcomes.
