Housekeeping Floor Supervisor

About the Role

Rosewood Red Sea in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor for a full-time position. This role involves overseeing the cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation of guest floors and public areas, ensuring adherence to luxury service standards. The Floor Supervisor will supervise housekeeping associates, inspect guest rooms and floor areas, and coordinate daily operations.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure all guestrooms, pantries, service areas, and overall housekeeping operations are maintained at the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. This includes handling guest requests and complaints, and ensuring compliance with LQA, Forbes, and Brand standards. The position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and operational knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
• Ensure superior standards are maintained daily through checking, training, and adherence to LQA, Forbes, and Brand standards.
• Monitor and control operations across various sections, including linen room, uniform room, floors, public areas, offices, and storerooms.
• Inventory, issue, and control the use of linen, amenities, cleaning supplies, and other housekeeping supplies.
• Prepare associate schedules and assignments on a daily basis.
• Resolve guest complaints in a timely manner and personally follow up on issues.
• Maintain associate attendance records, conduct daily briefings, ensure grooming standards, and manage the daily training calendar.
• Manage lost and found drops, entry, and monitoring.
• Develop, counsel, motivate, and discipline staff in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Maintain daily floor and pantry checklists.
• Interact courteously and professionally with all guests, staff, and community members.
• Act as the empowered person in charge for day-to-day issues, updating the Assistant Director of Housekeeping/Director of Housekeeping as required.
• Respond courteously, professionally, and rapidly to resolve all guest and associate difficulties.
• Supervise, direct, and coordinate associates to maintain hotel service standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the work area.
• Report all malfunctions on assigned floors to the Engineering department and follow up on reports.
• Ensure all associates' equipment is well maintained and in proper working order.
• Ensure all floors are properly stocked with correct supplies.
• Inspect and clean minibars in accordance with departmental procedures and policies.
