Laser Technician

About the Role

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib (HMG) is seeking a Laser Technician to provide essential support for laser procedures. This permanent role involves assisting with administrative tasks and utilizing comprehensive laser skills to ensure patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all HMG policies, including obtaining an invoice before any procedure.
• Refer new patients to a Dermatologist for detailed explanations and to secure consent.
• Refer patients to a Dermatologist for any issues encountered during or after treatment.
• Communicate politely, accurately, and promptly with patients and staff.
• Respect patient decisions and ensure their privacy during all stages of treatment.
• Prepare patients before and after treatment, providing necessary health instructions.
• Monitor and report any damages or problems with machines and accessories to the Charge Nurse (CN), Head Nurse (HN), and Bio-Medical engineers.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient treatments and records.
• Book subsequent appointments for clients/patients.
• Manage the aftercare of all used items.
• Complete all documentation accurately and clearly after treatment, including parameters used, for reference.
• Orient and assist new staff members within the unit.
• Identify limitations of new staff and contribute to their skill development.
• Provide patient and family education as required.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Enhance patient experience through compassion, respect, and dignity.
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of work.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: A Diploma is required, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Laser Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Two (2) to five (5) years of previous laser experience as a Laser Technician or Laser Staff Nurse is preferred.
• Licensing: Valid Saudi Council Registration is mandatory.
