About the Role

Le Meridien is seeking a Mgr-Marketing Communications I to manage the property's marketing plan and oversee all e-commerce opportunities. This full-time role involves developing strong relationships with tourism bureaus and community leaders, contributing to the property's overall marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in region-wide coordination of promotions for rooms, food and beverage, spa, and golf.
  • Develop leisure marketing plans, including the distribution of rate offers, packages, and programs to build occupancy.
  • Maintain, update, and manage all property websites.
  • Coordinate offers and information for all publications and inserts related to brand loyalty reward mailings.
  • Develop brochures and property collateral materials.
  • Participate in all property imaging work, such as signage.
  • Utilize and interpret reports for marketing recommendations, including DMA source market reports and past guest lists.
  • Review and analyze website and email campaign tracking, including individual property sites, corporate email campaigns, and ***** property reports.
  • Ensure consistent marketing messages across all advertising and collateral efforts.
  • Manage the marketing budget throughout the year, tracking ROI and providing analysis for future planning.
  • Ensure consistency in the individual property's voice across all guest touchpoints and marketing communications, adhering to corporate graphic standards.

Market Analysis and Revenue Maximization

  • Evaluate new marketing opportunities for the property.
  • Ensure property representation on all relevant internet sites that can generate business.
  • Collaborate with Convention Bureaus and Chambers of Tourism.
  • Develop a strategic marketing plan for the property, encompassing group, leisure, and local efforts.
  • Plan and supervise all photo shoots, developing shot lists aligned with property and brand image goals.

Relationship Building and Sales Support

  • Identify and communicate with distribution channels to drive property occupancy.
  • Provide sales channels with creative tools to assist in the sales and marketing of the property.
  • Act as a liaison between corporate and individual properties for program rollouts, ensuring properties leverage all corporate opportunities.
  • Work with media buyers to plan and execute advertising campaigns.
  • Assist the property in developing promotions for various campaigns, considering strategy, goals, and prerequisites.
  • Support the property with materials, tracking, analysis, and presentations to owners.
  • Manage vendor relationships on behalf of the property, balancing quality and price, requesting estimates, and approving materials.

Additional Marketing Functions

  • Maintain detailed files and records for all property marketing materials, including photo usage rights and vendor contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to all corporate marketing guidelines.
  • Approve all invoicing through the MarrCom office.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in marketing communications. This role requires a professional capable of managing diverse marketing activities and fostering key relationships to achieve departmental goals.
