Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate small to mid-range projects. This is a full-time, office-based position focused on engineering oversight, project planning, technical coordination, cost and schedule control, procurement support, and stakeholder alignment. The role primarily involves projects within the fertilizers (phosphate, ammonia, urea) and mining & metals sectors (aluminum, gold, copper).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate small to mid-range projects within the specified sectors.
• Manage projects through concept development, feasibility assessment, basic engineering, and detailed design oversight.
• Provide engineering oversight and technical coordination for all project phases.
• Control project costs and schedules to meet objectives.
• Support procurement activities and follow up on procurement processes.
• Ensure alignment among stakeholders, including engineering teams, internal departments, and site representatives.
• Prepare for project execution, ensuring all engineering deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Undertake occasional short visits for specific technical reviews as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in project management, specifically within engineering oversight roles.
• Demonstrated experience in the fertilizers (phosphate, ammonia, urea) and mining & metals (aluminum, gold, copper) sectors.
• Proficiency in project planning, technical coordination, and cost/schedule control.
• Ability to manage projects from concept development through detailed design and procurement follow-up.

Work Environment

This is an office-based position with primary responsibilities focused on project leadership and coordination. The role emphasizes strong collaboration between engineering teams, internal departments, and site representatives. Direct construction management is not part of this role.
