QC Welding Inspector

About the Role

GS Engineering & Construction is seeking a QC Welding Inspector for its QC Department within the GSCA FGIP - Fadhili Project in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for ensuring quality assurance and compliance with industry standards in welding operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting quality control inspections for welding activities.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASME, API, and ISO.
• Managing and reviewing transmittal documents related to Saudi Aramco projects.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed inspection reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a major in Mechanical or a similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience with Saudi Aramco, including familiarity with transmittal documents.
• Must be certified with a Saudi Aramco SAP number reference.
• Candidates with a CBT pass document are preferred; Saudi Aramco experience with transmittal documents but without CBT is also acceptable.
• Possession of an API Certificate is considered an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or International Welding Engineering (IWE) are highly regarded.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong command of both verbal and written English communication.
• Familiarity with industry standards including ASME, API, and ISO.

Work Environment and Location

This position is based in Saudi Arabia. Candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia and available for a face-to-face interview are preferred.
