Senior Sales Consultant

About the Role

Zahid Tractor is seeking a Senior Sales Consultant for a full-time position. This role is focused on maximizing sales of the company's products within a prescribed geographical area by engaging with both existing and prospective buyers, while adhering to established sales management guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit accurate sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
• Achieve target sales volume and turnover.
• Ensure cost-effective sales coverage within the territory.
• Prepare and present quotations and tenders, followed by diligent follow-up.
• Deliver professional client presentations that highlight price-value advantages.
• Provide sales forecasts for assigned key customer lists and territories.
• Report on relevant competitive and market activities.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Undertake any other projects or tasks assigned by the Area Manager.

Required Knowledge and Skills

The successful candidate will possess the capacity to understand the features and operation of technical products. A key skill for this role is the ability to effectively communicate this technical knowledge to others.

Internal Collaboration

This role involves regular interaction with various internal teams to ensure seamless operations and client support. Key internal contacts include the Area Manager, Product Support Representatives, Application Engineers, Sales Administration Supervisor and staff, and the Credit Control Advisor. These interactions primarily occur post-deal conclusion to facilitate the planning of scheduled Product Support visits.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should have 5 to 10 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within an industry that involves technical products.
