Marriott International is seeking a Server to join its team. This full-time position focuses on creating memorable guest experiences through attentive service, extending beyond basic food and beverage delivery. The Server plays a key role in ensuring guests enjoy their meals and overall dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting tables and preparing dining areas for guests.
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
• Interacting with and serving guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies.
• Processing transactions smoothly, integrating them into the overall guest experience.

Workplace Standards and Physical Demands

• Contributing to a safe workplace environment.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Upholding established quality standards for service and presentation.
• Ensuring professional appearance, uniform, and communication at all times.
• Performing duties that require standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, including movement over varied surfaces.
• Managing menu information, including reading and visual verification.
• Engaging in physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. This includes reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent is required.
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: No specific license or certification is required.
