Site Supervisor

About the Role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee and execute on-site fit-out activities in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring that all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The Site Supervisor will coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and successful handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct daily site surveys and mark interior finishes.
• Plan, organize, and delegate tasks to foremen, chargehands, and subcontractors.
• Monitor work progress against the project schedule and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare detailed work programs and project schedules using MS Project.
• Maintain accurate daily site reports, including progress updates and photographic records.
• Report progress, risks, and issues regularly to the Project Manager.
• Track productivity and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Coordinate with all trades, including civil, joinery, MEP, and finishing works.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, mall management, landlords, and clients.
• Attend site meetings and ensure timely follow-up and closure of action points.
• Coordinate with factory teams for production and delivery of joinery items.
• Ensure all works are executed in line with approved drawings, materials, and method statements.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals (WIRs, MIRs) with QA/QC teams and consultants.
• Identify defects, raise snag lists, and ensure timely closure of all snags.
• Monitor and close NCRs in coordination with relevant teams.
• Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and local regulations.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe working practices on site.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain a safe working environment.
• Report and escalate any incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Monitor material delivery, storage, and usage on-site, ensuring materials align with approved submittals.
• Minimize wastage and prevent damage of materials.
• Coordinate logistics and site access requirements.
• Ensure all required work permits are obtained prior to execution.
• Coordinate with authorities, mall management, and consultants for approvals and inspections.
• Verify subcontractor work quantities and progress (as-built).
• Support cost control by minimizing rework and delays.
• Review timesheets and workforce allocation.
• Maintain proper documentation including drawings, RFIs, approvals, and site instructions.
• Ensure all project records are updated and accessible.
• Prepare and manage snag lists, ensuring full close-out prior to handover.
• Support testing & commissioning activities where applicable.
• Submit Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
• Prepare project completion and close-out reports.
• Assist in final inspections and formal handover to the client.
• Identify potential risks and proactively escalate issues to the Project Manager.
• Implement mitigation actions to avoid delays or cost overruns.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in site supervision, particularly within fit-out activities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute on-site projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Proficiency in preparing work programs and project schedules (MS Project).
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and control processes.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and regulations.
• Experience in material and logistics management.
• Familiarity with permit acquisition and authority coordination.
• Ability to manage project documentation and records.
