About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Supply and Procurement Manager to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives. This full-time position requires a professional with significant experience in procurement, specifically within water and wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure materials, equipment, and services essential for water and wastewater projects.
Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including Requests for Quotation (RFQs), tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, Purchase Order (PO) issuance, and contract management.
Identify and qualify suppliers for a range of equipment such as pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, instrumentation, chemical dosing systems, filtration systems, membranes, and various electrical and mechanical equipment.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to support project schedules and operational requirements.
Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and contractors.
Evaluate supplier performance based on established criteria including quality, delivery timelines, cost-effectiveness, and service levels.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and comprehensive contractual agreements.
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance and conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Effectively resolve supplier disputes and contractual issues as they arise.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in supply chain and procurement. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience in procurement, ideally within the water and wastewater sector.
