Role Overview: Training Coordinator (E2)

Hill International is seeking an experienced Training Coordinator (E2) to support the development and delivery of technical training programs across the organization. This full-time position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience and involves a comprehensive approach to employee competency and professional development.

Purpose of the Position

The Training Coordinator will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing technical training needs within the company. This includes designing and implementing structured training plans, developing educational materials, and coordinating both classroom and e-learning sessions. The role also focuses on evaluating training effectiveness and recommending improvements to align with business requirements and employee development goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current employee competency and manage personnel appraisals.
  • Analyze and identify technical training requirements within the company, then design integrated training programs.
  • Communicate with employees to address technical issues and gather insights for training development.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials, including outlines, handouts, and practical exercises.
  • Coordinate with industry experts for conducting classroom-style training and workshops.
  • Schedule and manage training sessions through e-learning platforms.
  • Ensure all newly hired employees receive relevant and necessary initial training.
  • Evaluate the job performance of employees after each training session to determine its impact.
  • Collect feedback from trainers and trainees, and provide recommendations to enhance training programs.
  • Collaborate with external vendors engaged for specialized training programs.

Required Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related subject from an accredited university.
  • Advanced project management certification.

Experience and Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of overall work experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of professional management processes and procedures.
  • Proven experience and ability to conduct training courses using innovative classroom techniques and various teaching aids.
  • Capability to develop comprehensive training plans for teams.
  • Proficiency in personnel management and administration.

Compliance and General Duties

The Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring continuous compliance with relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International. Additionally, the role involves performing other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor to support operational needs.
