Role Overview

YO IT Consulting is seeking an Ubuntu AI Trainer to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This is a fully remote, hourly paid contractor role focused on supporting AI data training projects. The position involves structured, detail-oriented tasks such as installing applications and meticulously recording actions. This role directly contributes to enhancing AI systems utilized across various products and industries, making it suitable for students, junior candidates, and tech-savvy individuals with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow detailed written guidelines and apply them accurately.
• Install and utilize required applications on an Ubuntu/Linux computer.
• Review work for errors before submission.
• Identify and report inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or technical issues as they arise.
• Maintain focus during repetitive or detail-intensive tasks.
• Complete assigned work within agreed weekly availability.
• Communicate clearly with the project team when support is needed.
• Contribute to improving the quality of AI model training data.

Candidate Profile

• Tech-savvy with basic computer literacy and confidence in using browser-based tools.
• Capable of working independently and following written instructions carefully and consistently.
• Patient, concentrated, and detail-oriented, comfortable with structured and sometimes repetitive tasks.
• Reliable, responsive, and able to meet task deadlines.
• Available for approximately 15 hours per week.
• Previous experience in AI data training, data annotation, QA, software testing, or research tasks is beneficial but not mandatory.

Technical Requirements

• Access to a personal computer running Ubuntu/Linux.
• Comfortable installing required applications, tools, and project software.
• Ability to follow setup instructions independently.

Work Arrangement
