About the Role

YO IT Consulting is seeking an Ubuntu User to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This is a remote, hourly paid contractor position designed to support AI data training projects. The role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, including students and junior candidates, who possess strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.

Role Overview

As an Ubuntu User, you will execute structured, detail-oriented tasks remotely, contributing directly to the improvement of AI systems across various products and industries. This involves installing necessary applications and meticulously recording your actions while completing tasks. Success in this role requires patience, concentration, and a high degree of attention to detail, alongside comfort working within an Ubuntu/Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow detailed written guidelines and apply them accurately.
• Install and utilize required applications on a personal Ubuntu/Linux computer.
• Conduct thorough checks of work for errors prior to submission.
• Identify and report inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or technical issues as they arise.
• Maintain focus and precision during repetitive or detail-intensive tasks.
• Complete all assigned work within the agreed weekly availability.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with the project team when support is required.
• Contribute to enhancing the quality of AI model training data.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a personal computer running Ubuntu/Linux.
• Demonstrate comfort with installing required applications, tools, and project software independently.
• Be tech-savvy and capable of following setup instructions without extensive supervision.
• Exhibit patience, concentration, and a strong orientation towards detail.
• Ability to follow written instructions carefully and consistently.
• Comfortable with completing structured and potentially repetitive tasks.
• Possess basic computer literacy and confidence in using browser-based tools.
• Be reliable, responsive, and consistently meet task deadlines.

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote contractor position, offering flexibility with an hourly payment structure. Candidates should be available for approximately 15 hours per week to fulfill the role's responsibilities. The work directly contributes to a fast-growing AI data services company.
