Role Overview: Application/Sys Sales Engineer I

Honeywell Technologies is seeking an Application/Sys Sales Engineer I to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is specifically for a fresh graduate Saudi National with 0-1 years of experience. The successful candidate will contribute to shaping the customer experience strategy and driving initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. This position involves providing crucial technical support to customers, optimizing customer experience programs, and contributing to business growth by improving satisfaction, increasing revenue, strengthening cross-functional collaboration, and fostering a customer-centric culture.

Key Responsibilities: Design Support

• Interpret client requirements, building codes, and relevant fire safety standards to develop compliant, cost-effective, and robust Fire, Security, or BMS solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors throughout the design and project lifecycle to ensure alignment, technical accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Prepare detailed system architecture and bill of materials for Fire, Security, or BMS systems, including complimentary systems.
• Review project specifications, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and client requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals for bids and tenders.
• Understand the competitive landscape and local industry practices for assigned systems and regions.

Key Responsibilities: Application Engineering

• Conduct product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), presentations, and technical consultations.
• Obtain vendor quotations and evaluate technical and commercial compliance.
• Support project managers and installation teams by providing engineering input during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Develop products with enhancements and new product developments to increase product specifications and quality.
• Conduct technical reviews, design risk assessments, and site visits to resolve technical queries and verify installation quality as per design intent.
• Develop and implement customer-centric programs to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer-focused initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or a related field).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design/drafting tools.
• Strong knowledge or familiarity with international standards such as NFPA, FM, UL, EN, IEC, and ATEX (as applicable).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
